Pre-Order £5,500 Nikon D3X for £20 – Nikon D3X Specs Released

The Nikon D3X is no longer a rumor, with the camera being spotted in San Diego, California. Camera World of UK is pre-ordering the new Nikon D3X for a deposit of £20.00.

  • 24.5 Mega pixel FX sensor

  • 5 frames per second at full resolution
  • Scene Recognition
  • Highest resolution D-SLR with Live View
  • 3″, 922,000 dots monitor

A Nikon D3X release probably cannot go without knowing what Ken Rockwell thinks of Nikon D3X:

Exactly as expected, The D3x is a D3 with more pixels and slower speed, with just about everything else the same. With 24MP, it’s probably about as good as scanned 35mm film when blown up several feet (m) wide.

BH Photo or Adorama have not announced the prices yet. But since the camera is expected to hit the US shops by Christmas 2008, check back soon.
