We have been patiently following the progress on the Nikon D3X. Not that I need it for $ 7,000, I am very happy with my D200 & the Nikon F5 & F100, all working great & my plastic lomos.
In fact I am also giving a serious thought to start taking pictures with my 3.2 MP Blackberry Storm cell-phone camera!
But the fact that Nikon has released some of the best flagship models one after another, makes me proud! The fact that now I have something to boast of in front of the Canon lovers!
After the Nikon D3X Specs & Prices were published, it seems that Nikon has announced the official release of the new D3X on Dec 1 2008, in Japan.
Although UK shops are quite certain that the price would be somewhere close of £5,500, the final price could only be confirmed after the official announcement. Nikonians are not expecting any new lens at this time.
