The
Literacy
Project
In 2020 I & a few of my close friends & like minded professionals who are passionate about education & learning, started a difficult journey to further literacy amongst the children of the ethnic communities of India by building Children’s Libraries & Free Play Schools.
We started our first Free Play School Sphoorthy in Balrampur, a remote tribal village in Chhattisgarh, India. We have a lot of work ahead, we are likely going to face more uphill battle in the future, but it has been fulfilling to know that a lot of families & children are eagerly joining our school.
