I photographed these trees in the late winter of 2020. As I was driving by these trees along one of the backroads here in middle Tennessee, I came upon these perfectly lined up trees. They were showing through the mist. As the fog cleared a little bit and the sun penetrated through the side, the dew on the leaves and the moisture on the tree trunks started to glisten,
Instead of doing a regular sharp image, I put the camera on the tripod (it is just a habit) and tried the impressionistic style that I loved so much back in 1990s. This is a multiple take. I forgot exactly how many exposures I made, but its likely around 3 to 5 exposures on a single frame. Each time I defocussed a little bit to let the lens bokeh through the leaves.
