The American mid-southern states of Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas & Mississippi have a very fascinating landscape. They could be so flat in places & completely undulating with very steep ups and downs in other that they could make some great panoramic photos.
One of the interesting things found in this part are the beautiful barns, the large horse & animal farms and in summer shines these beautiful wildflowers across acres of land.
I found this amazing barn on Highway 19 in Tennessee. The gentlemen who run this farm allowed me to move around freely and make these panoramas.
There were several farm animals outside, among them there was a very young jackass. I was warned by the gentlemen that the jackass was a very curious animal and would surely find me. And once it does, it will not stop braying. So while I cautiously moved along the fence, no wonder, this foal spotted me and continuously followed my steps, sometimes at a distance, for all the couple of hours I spent at the farm.
The wildflowers in Tennessee have been in full bloom from mid April. The sun came up bright and early and the glory of the magnificent buttercups and wild daisies brought life into the farm.
I have also seen tons of native mid-south wildflowers like aster, lemon mint, Virginia bluebell and woodland phlox along the highways and most of the backroads in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The best days to get some glorious pictures are those early mornings of spring & summer – the heat seems to bring the best bloom to these wildflowers.
