Impressions of Nature
From sandwiching chrome slides to various other digital techniques, these impressionistic images are all created in camera, without any digital manipulations.

I began this journey back in early 2000 when I was working closely with the New England Camera Club Members in Connecticut.
It was probably the best place to start with impressionistic photography. Back in those days my only choice of media was Fuji Velvia 50. The richness of the film, the saturation of the colors and the grandeur of the landscape all came together in some beautiful impressions.
These impressionistic images are done in camera using various techniques. The subject is the sun and the shots are taken by shooting directly into the sun. The composition included trees & shrubs that added a beautiful pattern around the glowing sun.
Impressions of Flowers
These images are all from my backyard and my small garden. Summer flowers, wild flowers are great subjects for these creative impressions using all the various ways described in the Creative Garden & Backyard Photography ebook.
Creative Landscapes
Landscapes in autumn are another story! The creative opportunities are abundant with impressionistic photography. These images are all done in camera without any digital alteration.

Mesmerizing colors, accentuated by the pastel like look of the images come from natural colors during sunsets when the sun is very low on the horizon.
Autumn Fall Foliage Impressions
Autumn with her usual fall foliage adds a different perspective to impressionistic imagery.
More creative expressions include fall foliage impressions at early mornings when the run rays float in through the mist or late afternoons when the golden rays of the sun pierce through the greenery.
