The remote coasts of Maine provide numerous opportunities for some very unique shots. During storms, you could watch the sky change dramatically over the horizon right in front of your eyes. The sun and clouds unfold their drama frequently. The waves change themselves, as if adjusting to the new music of the thunderstorms.
I was following a duck family as they were foraging for food at noon along the shores. They were dancing around the mild waves when the winds picked up suddenly and the ocean turned very turbulent. They all climbed up the rocky coast and stood there for the storm to pass.
This image was taken at Two Lights beach. I have cropped the picture to show the 5 ducks holding on tightly to the rocks as they wait for the storm to pass.
