Seven Years in Tibet

A personal recount of author Heinrich Harrer traversing through the desolate Tibetan mountains into Lhasa. The book is filled with details and some amazing pictures through his 21 months trek, escaping from the British military camps & crossing the Indian border into the holy lands of Tibet.

The original German book was later translated by Richard Graves and later a foreword was added by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The book was also made into a movie by the same name & directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud. PS: Over time the publishers have changed the cover picture numerous times.
