Spoorthy Celebrates Indian Republic Day

It is almost close to a year that we have started our play school for ethnic children in rural India, in the village of Balrampur in Chhattisgarh, India. The challenges were immense, more so from a logistics perspective than anything else.

It has been a great effort on the part of our team, the local administrators as well as the ethnic communities to set this play school up & running. The current interest within the ethnic communities are now much more than what it was a couple of years back when we began this journey, their apprehensions overcome by the values and the future possibilities.

Spoorthy Free Play School for Ethnic Children JSWF Chhattisgarh, India

We have to commend JSW Foundation, a very unique social organization in many ways, whose folks are on the ground making it all happen. A month back they celebrated the Indian Republic Day at the school, organized & motivated by the parents of the children who come into the play school.

Barring the challenges of logistics, our journey has been slow but meaningful. If you would like to be part of this journey, there is always a place! There are a lot of resources on the website to browse.
