Streets along NYC Public Library

The New York Public Library is both a tourist attraction as well as the hangout for the local New Yorkers, with its beautiful greens, a calm spot amidst the bustling junction of the Grand Central Station and the Times Square.

It is fascinating to observe the tourists and the local New Yorkers in this area. While one has the busy steps trying to take in as much of New York City as they can, the latter is relaxed and intent on spending a quiet afternoon reading, playing chess or just taking a stroll around the Bryant Park.
