Meeman Shelby Forest area in Memphis has some beautiful roads, huge trees touching the clouds, large lakes and wide open fields that fill with mid-south wildflowers in Spring & Summer.
The backroads along Route 59 become enchanting in Summer. The large trees bower over the roads. Many days when the early mornings have dense fog, these trees and the huge open fields along the highways create a mystical environment.
The backroads of Route 196, Route 119, Route 78 provide wonderful opportunities to photograph the horizon the the huge skies above.
