Hollywood Street, adjacent to Broad Street & Scott Street in Memphis, has some great murals around within a few feet of walking. There are a lot of wall paintings, some prominently visible from the main roads, while some are tucked away in the alleys in this area.
This includes the iconic muralised water tower at the corner of Broad Street and Hollywood, that has appeared in numerous magazines and prints.
Hidden but close to plain sight are the paintings on the walls of the small parking lot on Hollywood Street.
There are a lot more of smaller paintings on the walls along the Sam Cooper Blvd in this area but they have started to fade away and hopefully there will soon be some new colorful paintings again.
